Blue Moon Shrimp Cocktail


For the cocktail sauce, combine all ingredients into a small saucepan. Simmer over medium heat for roughly an hour, until a small amount of liquid remains in the pan. Remove from heat and transfer to a blender. Blend until smooth, set aside to cool for serving. Yields roughly 1 Cup of sauce.

For the shrimp boil, combine water, beer, orange juice, peel and spices into a large pot and bring to a boil. Once boiling place in shrimp and let them cook for 3 minutes. Strain shrimp into a bowl and place bowl into the refrigerator. Let the shrimp cool for at least 20 minutes. Serve with BMBW Cocktail Sauce. Makes 6-8 Servings

BMBW Cocktail Sauce
2 Large Navel Oranges, peeled & diced (saving pith & all juice)
1/2 Cup Orange Juice
1 Cup BMBW Beer
3/4 Cup Rice Vinegar
2 Cloves
1/2 Cup Brown Sugar
1/2 Tbsp Chili Paste
