Mustard Dill Flank Steak

One of my all time favorite marinades! This recipe is great for any dinner, grilling event, or even camping!

Fun trick is to freeze the steak with its marinade then use it as an ice pack in your cooler for camping. By the time your camp is set up, the steak will be thawed out just in time for a delicious camp dinner!


Combine all wet ingredients into a bowl. Rough chop the dill and add to the wet ingredients. Mix well. Place Flank steak in marinating dish, or ziplock bag and pour marinade over. Coat all sides of the meat and marinade for 24 hours.

Once ready to grill, take steak and place on a hot grilling surface. Cook 3-4 minutes a side for medium rare. Be sure to let your steak rest for 5 minutes once off the grill. Take left over marinade and transfer to a small sauce -pan, and bring this mixture to a simmer while steak is cooking. Slice steak into strips and place back in the cooked marinade. Serves 4-6.
