Charred Carrots & Green Beans w/ Chive Oil

Spice up your traditional green beans by adding in some charred carrots and herb oil!


Over a hot bbq or fire grill, place peeled whole carrots straight onto the grill. Cook roughly 8-10minutes per side, allowing the skin to become slightly black. Remove from grill and rough chop.

Meanwhile in a cast iron pan (or in our case a foil pan) place green beans, olive oil and salt. Place on the BBQ and cover with foil. After about 5 minutes, stir around green beans and add in white wine. Recover and let cook for another 5 minutes.

Remove pan from heat, add in cut charred carrots and chives to the pan. Mix well and serve.
